The element-i childcare centre Bengelbande is located in a very attractive, modern building with a beautiful outdoor area. Situated in the centre of a quiet residential area in Stuttgart-Vaihingen (Dachswald), the children’s home is easily accessible for the local children. The neighbourhood connection also plays a major role in day-to-day work. In addition, the children’s centre is not far from the campus of the University of Stuttgart and the facilities of the Fraunhofer Institute.
The spacious, bright rooms offer sufficient space for various functional areas, which provide both the daycare centre children of all ages and the school children in the after-school care centre with stimulation for playing together or retreats for undisturbed work.
A healthy diet plays an important role in all element-i childcare centres: the children are provided with freshly cooked full meals made from regional ingredients every day in our own kitchen. The in-house chef ensures that the food is freshly prepared in a child-friendly way and also allows the children to take part in food preparation.
