Construction of the new element-i See-Pferdchen childcare centre in Spechaastraße in Spöck (Stutensee municipality) began at the end of April 2025. The concept envisages two self-contained daycare units, each offering 45 places – a total of 90 childcare places in six groups (three under-3 groups, three over-3 groups). We also attach particular importance to networking See-Pferdchen within the Stutensee social area with relevant facilities and services, as well as embedding it in the municipality’s education system.
After completion, planned for between September 2026 and March 2027, the various functional rooms in the new two-storey building will offer the children plenty of space and a wide range of materials so that they can develop freely according to their interests and needs. The room layout is based on the specifications of the Municipal Association for Youth and Social Affairs (KVJS) and also incorporates the special concept of element-i. The approximately 515 square metre outdoor area also invites children to play and explore.
