The element-i Junges Gemüse child care centre is situated in a modern, two-storey, well-lit building with a generous outdoor area in the Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Its identification with the area of the city is therefore a major element of its work and participation in local activities and festivities goes without saying. The facility offers 110 places for children aged between six months and school age (six years).
The many rooms with their various themes and the large number of carers with a diversity of skills and characters offer the children an especially large range of opportunities for experience and decision-making. A sense of belonging and manageability is ensured through the division into two groups with the children permanently assigned to a single floor with corresponding contact persons.
The proximity to the Büsnauer Wiesental nature reserve and Pfaffenwald forest encourages the children and carers to take exciting trips to explore the surrounding natural environment. This allows the children to gain important experience in nature in order to strengthen their awareness of their environment.
Only children who live in Stuttgart can be admitted.
