The element-i Königskinder childcare centre has been open since June 2014 and is located on the ground floor of a new building in the Sendling district of Munich.
The very bright and spacious functional and educational rooms offer the children a cosy and warm atmosphere. Our educational concept is optimally implemented in the studio, workshop, role-play room, construction room, laboratory, our small library and the crawlers’ nest with its platform and birch trunks. The rooms invite the children to live out their urge to explore and discover. The spacious play corridor, in which a large wall surface can be used as a blackboard, is particularly noteworthy. There is also an exercise room with a climbing and bouldering wall and a garden.
Königskinder is easily accessible by public transport. The central city location offers the team and children many opportunities for trips and excursions to get to know the childcare centre’s surroundings. The children particularly enjoy visiting the nearby playground with their teachers.
A cook prepares healthy and varied meals from fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients every day. Depending on the childcare model, the children receive breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
The cost table for day-care centre fees (excluding meals) of the City of Munich can be found here. Please note that parents of kindergarten children do not have to bear their own costs due to the contribution subsidy of 100 euros (for explanation: table).
