We are the element-i Seehasen childcare centre in the Competence Park Friedrichshafen – a bright and lively place where children can settle in, feel at home and explore their surroundings.
Our marketplace is the central meeting point of the childcare centre. This is where the children come together, share meals and experience a sense of community in everyday life. From here, they can access our various functional rooms. In the building area, they construct and create, while the art studio invites them to paint and design. In the “Wonderland” room, imaginative role play comes to life, and in the “Alpine World” exercise room, the children can climb, move around and test their abilities. For our youngest children, there is the Crawlers’ Nest – a protected space where they can settle in at their own pace and build trusting relationships.
There is also plenty to discover outdoors. A large meadow close to the childcare centre offers space for playing, running around, climbing and observing nature. A sandpit, climbing frame, herb beds and mud kitchen provide many opportunities for the children to experience nature, movement and community with all their senses.
Early music education is another special feature of our childcare centre. Through singing, making music, moving and exploring rhythm together, the children can express themselves, develop their creativity and experience music as something that brings people together. This creates many small moments filled with sound, movement and joy throughout the day.
Our cook prepares fresh breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks at the childcare centre every day, using regional, seasonal and balanced ingredients wherever possible. The children are introduced to food, cooking and nutrition in an age-appropriate way. In recognition of its nutrition-conscious approach, the Seehasen childcare centre has been awarded the BeKi certificate by Baden-Württemberg’s state initiative for conscious child nutrition.
