The element-i Seehasen child care centre is located on the ground floor of the Competence Park Friedrichshafen and was opened in August 2018. The facility offers 40 places for children aged between six months and six years.
This generously sized facility offers various themed rooms that offer all children opportunities for play and rest as well as an outdoor area that serves as a place for further experiences. The institution is designed in accordance with the element-i educational philosophy, which each of our institutions follows. Its goal is to encourage children to take an independent interest in their environment and various topics.
All-day, half-day or flexible part-time care options are available. The care services for all-day care are provided throughout the entire opening hours. A flexible care arrangement is for 30 hours a week on at least three days a week. Half-day placements are either for mornings or afternoons and can be with or without lunch.
The cook is an important member of the team as they not only prepare the breakfast, lunch and snack each day, but also involve the children in their day-to-day work by speaking about nutrition and cooking. This makes the cook’s work an essential part of the approach to nutrition.
