Südstadtstrolche

The element-i Südstadtstrolche child care centre is located in the new Citypark development estate in Karlsruhe, in the southeast of Südstadt, opposite a primary school. It offers space for 90 children aged six months to six years. There is cooperation with the primary school to ensure a smooth transition for the children.

All-day, half-day or flexible part-time care options are available. Currently there is a native French speaker at the Südstadtstrolche.

All of the rooms are welcoming, brightly lit and generously sized. The inviting themed areas provide the children with the opportunity to gather experience and select between different activities. The outdoor area offers the children plenty of space and play equipment to let off steam.

The cook is an important team member as not only does she prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks each day, but she also involves the children in their daily work by talking about food and the cooking process.
