The element-i WiKi child care centre is located on the ground floor of the Competence Park Friedrichshafen. The facility offers 60 places for children aged between six months and six years. All-day, half-day or flexible part-time care options are available. The care services for all-day care are provided throughout the entire opening hours. A flexible care arrangement is for 30 hours a week on at least three days a week. Half-day placements are either for mornings or afternoons and can be with or without lunch.
We have applied our experience in day care jointly with the architect to a room concept that is tailored to the needs of infants and toddlers. This concept also takes into account organisational factors as well as places to retreat for peace & quiet or to find challenges and stimulation. This generously sized facility offers numerous themed rooms that offer all children opportunities for play and rest as well as an outdoor area that serves as a place for further experiences.
The cook is an important member of the team as they not only prepare the breakfast, lunch and snack each day, but also involve the children in their day-to-day work by speaking about nutrition and cooking. This makes the cook’s work an essential part of the approach to nutrition.
