The element-i Hans im Brück centre in the Cologne-Brück district opened in July 2021.
The childcare centre is located on the right bank of the Rhine in a residential area with a traffic-calmed zone. Important note: Enter house number 12 in your satnav, otherwise you will be misdirected.
The barrier-free architecture of the building is directly aligned to the element-i pedagogy, the rooms are orientated to the needs of the children. The two-and-a-half-storey building has large windows that let in plenty of light and tall, spacious group rooms. The large, natural outdoor area gives the children plenty of space to experience nature. A large playground, which we can visit with the children, is in the immediate vicinity, and we also go on excursions to the Königsforst forest or explore the surrounding fields.
For our nutritional concept, we only use high-quality and, where possible, regional and seasonal products, which are freshly prepared every day by our chef in the childcare centre’s own kitchen. Depending on the childcare model, the children receive breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
