Freie element-i Grundschule (Free element-i primary school) Stuttgart

Starting with school year 2022/23, the primary school students will be taught on Breitwiesenstr. 8 in Stuttgart.

The state-approved primary school is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and has only 27 closure days. There is an exercise room with approx. 300 sq m for sporting activities.

Healthy food
Fresh and regional food is cooked for the schools every day. At the all-day facility, the children get a breakfast buffet in the morning, a hot meal at lunchtime and a snack in the afternoon.

Individual and interest-oriented
We always encourage our students to pursue their personal interests and realise them in the classroom. They get as much freedom as possible, but we also set the limits they need for optimal development.

Our learning offers consist of impulses that are contributed by children and teachers alike. The children actively control their personal learning process with the help of learning conferences and learning world maps. The teachers accompany them in this and give specific impulses, support and feedback on their performance.

Learning today what is important tomorrow
The advancing digitisation changes our society and poses completely new challenges for the youngest children already. They must learn to act on their own responsibility and, more than ever, they need skills like creativity, technical understanding, tolerance of change and resilience in the future working world. In the element-i educational philosophy, these competences are specifically developed by letting students independently control their individual learning processes and learn in an interest-oriented way. With our MINT-oriented educational programme, we have our sights set on future subjects like programming, the internet and artificial intelligence.

Stuttgart location
